Perfect Greek Yogurt

This is a staple in our house. I almost always have Greek Yogurt in the morning for breakfast because I just cant help it! I LOVE it.. I do purchase many types of favored yogurt but when I am being sugar conscience or have the plain stuff in the house (Bruce puts it in smoothies a lot) this is a perfectly delicious breakfast or late night snack!

If you are not a Greek Yogurt lover as of yet I encourage you to try it. Yes, the plain is a a little (ok..a lot) tart/sour compared to your average sugary major brand of yogurt. Try one of the favored varieties and work your way to mixing the plain variety. I even got my step-daughter (picky picky eater) to love the Carmel Macchiato and Café Latte Dannon Oikos Greek Yogurt!

Variations: Add Honey, Mini chocolate chips or Good Life Chocolate Chips, trade out cocoa almonds for any other nuts!

Perfect Greek Yogurt

Quicky and Easy packed with good healthy fats and protein.

  • Prep Time : 2 minutes
  • Yield : 1 Cup

1. Measure out 1 Cup of Plain Greek Yogurt. 2. Mix in 2-3 tbsp of All Natural Chunky Peanut Butter or Almond Butter. It will take a little bit to stir it in. If it helps you can microwave the peanut butter for 15-20 seconds to soften it to make it easier to stir in. 3. Slice Bananas and place on top. 4. Grind or chop your cocoa almonds.
